My name is Rob and I’m the founder of CoachStrategies, a consultancy that helps coaches establish their online identity and build their practice using the internet.

RobI have been building successful websites since 1999. I started designing simple web sites. As the web grew, clients’ needs became more complex and I learned how to program and work with databases. One of the bigger projects I worked on was the Pez.com site, where I built a complete e-commerce system from the ground up, including an inventory management system for their fulfillment company and a call center interface to their online store.

Next I went to work for a financial software company named to:

  • Connecticut Technology Council’s Fast 50
  • Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 50
  • American Banker and Financial Insights’ FinTech 100

At this company I held three separate roles, first as a system administrator/developer, second as a technical product analyst for our business intelligence product line and third as a system analyst managing a large SharePoint infrastructure.

During my time employed with this company I found a coach through Nightingale Conant. My coach helped me revolutionize and transform many areas of my life. I’m convinced that without his assistance I would not be the person that I am today. I believe in the power and value of coaching and want to help coaches reach more people. I created CoachStrategies to use my years of marketing and technology experience to guide coaches through the process of building an online identity and using that identity to connect with more people.

The principles of an effective web identity are straightforward. I practice what I preach. The principles and strategies I use to grow my business online are the same I use to help you grow your business. There is a lot of information on marketing, writing, web design and technology on the web. There is so much it is easy to get overloaded. That is where I come in. I am constantly researching, analyzing and testing. I take what I learn, pick out what is useful and put it to work for you. I offer a lot of advice for free through the site’s Blog.
